Il Tempo Dei Sensi (The Time of Senses) is the restaurant of Tenuta Ponziani. From the name derives its mission: to awaken the gastronomic memory of those who appreciate good food, satisfying all the senses. The restaurant concept has been adapted to the context: a refined place, authentic flavors and the opportunity to rediscover the same scents of the surrounding nature even at the table.

The restaurant’s interior room has stone walls and is furnished in a refined way, for an intimate and very welcoming atmosphere. The guest will experience a typically Umbrian atmosphere and will enjoy a romantic dinner or a happy moment with the family. Next to the inner room there is an elegant veranda, built like a real winter garden: the windows allow diners to feel part of the surrounding nature.
Quality to enjoy
The gastronomic proposal of Il Tempo dei Sensi surprises for its refinement and triumph of flavors. The dishes are prepared with quality products, mostly from the farm owned. Innovative cooking techniques guarantee the maximum expression of flavors. At your disposal, you can mix the aromatic herbs and the oil of the estate in order to create the aromatic condiments you prefer.
The restaurant leads to a suggestive cave cellar, where it is possible to experience wines by Cantina Ponziani.
Cantina Ponziani produces and bottles two wines:
– Ponziani Fasti IGT Umbria, a ruby-red Bordeaux blend with notes of juniper, blackberries, tobacco, spices and rose petals;
– Ponziani Velia IGT Umbria, a white wine born from the union of two varieties, Chardonnay (40%) and Grechetto (60%).
